Route 120, better known as Outer Lydia Community or Outer Lydia GO Shuttle is a GO Shuttle operated by GO Transit during rush hours. Services are taken over by Gravenhurst Regional Transit (GRT) and is operated as a community bus. The two services share the same route number and the same routing, with the exception of that the community bus route diverts into Lydia Centre Terminal.
The route services the community of Outer Lydia, and follows the routing around Gardena Parkway, Dennis Park Place, the Royal Loops, Larabee Line, Lake Drive, and Speech of Silence Boulevard.
The route connects to the Gravenhurst Corridor Line at Outer Lydia GO Station.
gCard are acceptable fare media for this route. Passengers are required to pay a GRT fare for travelling between any two points on the route (except Outer Lydia GO Station) or a GO Transit fare (for travelling to and from the station). Due to the utilisation of GO Transit vehicles during peak hours, gSmart displays will not show the projected departure time for these buses.
Saturday services are operated solely by Gravenhurst Regional Transit. There are no Sunday buses on this route.
History[]
- April 2011: The introduction of full weekdays and Saturdays service. Non-rush hour trips are now operated by Gravenhurst Regional Transit.
- December 2010: Extension of the route to the Royal Loops and diverts into Speech of Silence Boulevard to address customers' demands.
